Hi,

I just bought one of these after having used my Tasc R30 for many years.
The board is fantastic - larger than I imaginged (I assumed it'd be the same as
the R30 board, but its much larger). The peices too are nice and weighty.

No LEDS though - personally, I'd prefer to have them, but I can live with Fritz
speaking its moves. If very subtle LEDs were used in the strip around the edge
fo the board, then play would be possible without looking at or listening to the
PC.

I do have one problem though - I'm currently using Fritz 6 (while I wait for
Junior 8). Fritz 6 doesn't wait for me to move the opponents peice on the board
before starting my clock. Whilst this isn't a big problem, it does mean any
blitz game is out of the question, unless I tack on a human time increment for
each move.

The R30 would pause both clocks while waiting for you to move his peice, and I
think this is best.

Does anyone know if later versions of Fritz or Junoir will pause the clock while
waiting for the DGT board to show the computers move has been entered?

Thanks,

Nick
