At this time the best of all is the Tungsten-C: 400MHz ARM processor and 64Mb of memory. The Palm ZIRE 71 is not bad either, but its processor runs "only" at 144MHz (same speed as the Tungsten-T). But it has a nice camera! There are new models released every month by either Palm or Sony, and there is also a wide price range. So I don't think I can tell you which model is right for you. Just be sure to buy a PalmOS 5 model, so you are sure to get a fast ARM processor (PalmOS 4 models are using the slower DragonBall processors). I think the right model for chess is simply the one with the highest MHz/Euro. So you need to look at the prices for yourself in your nearest store. Christophe
