No, this has not changed.
But these constraints are the reason why the applications developped for PalmOS
are lighter and faster than the equivalent PocketPC applications.
It puts more stress on the developper, but the user benefits more.
I think this will change with PalmOS 6, to be released later this year. Most
constraints are going to be removed and you will end up programming for a
relatively standard 32 bits environment. But I do not know for sure.
