Well I concede that I might be mistaken, but when I checked out Novags Web Site, and read the FAQ section they clearly stated that the new Star Range now have 512Kb programs (the previous models had only 160Kb) and the Ram had been increased from 129Kb to 256KB. So what is in this extra 352Kb of programming? Prehaps I'm wrong, but to the layperson reading this, it is not unreasonable to assume that Novag have given the Star range a stronger program, that seems to be confirmed out in its proposed higher ELO rating ( that has yet to be confirmed independently!) Yes prehaps I shouldn't make the assumption that the 512KB program relates to more program knowledge, but it wouldnt suprise me if this was the case. Now taking this opportunity to ask an off topic related question, I have Chess Tiger for Palm (Sony Clie), (as well as Tiger 14 on my PC) both excellent programs i might add. But a few months ago I asked if the Palm Hi-Res upgrade was planned, and was assured that it would be, but to date i've heard nothing. Your program is stronger, but for a small screen the improved graphics of the Chess Genius program are easier on the eye when playing loner games, in fact they are superb! Do you have a release schedule for the upcoming Hi-Res upgrade for Tiger for Palm? Trevs,
