Of course it is possible.  We already know computers prefer 1 e4.  Since
the Sicilian is the most tactical opening it would be the one for computers.
How to make a computer knowledgeable in a particular variant?  My experience
is that the dragon is too dangerous.  I would start looking at the Najdorf.
If you get good analysis of book material it is just a matter of tweaking
the program.  Against 1 d4 the Dutch Leningrad would give tactical
opportunities.
