The simple fact of the matter is, and I know this, most corr. players, over 90%
use computers, and for that reason I quit corr. altogether....forget the rules
or honesty in corr. chess, it hardly exists!

Sorry but, it's what _is_ not what it _should_ be....sigh...

An Ex-Corr. Master!

P.S.

My last opponent, from India had a rating over 2700 with computer aid, I drew
with Black with a pawn up...he consulted EGTBS when I offered the draw to reach
the same conclusion I did without them....it was a Dead Draw!

Yes we both consulted computers, as he wanted to play _advanced_ corr. chess,
still my moves were mostly my own and I didn't use EGTBS, but lacked the _true_
spirit of the game.

Well there will be no nextime!

He said he'd kill me next time, I just said to myself, why play? It's nonsense.

He called it advanced chess, well I think advanced chess for the most part, is a
bastardization of the Regal Game!

It is mildly interesting, but I will emphasize mildly, even when the world's
best players use computers in their OTB matches.
