Hi Chest-friends, since the latest version 0.93 Arena shows the rather annoying behavior to treat an ´empty move´ as ´illegal´ and take this as a ´resign´ from the engine, using ChestUCI under Arena is no longer as comfortable as it has been in earlier versions. :-( (of course the Fritz- and Shredder-GUI are not affected) So I´ve made a new version 2.6 of ChestUCI with a little ´workaround´ for this new Arena ´feature´ (more likely a ´bug´), which is activated by installing ChestUCI with the start-parameter ´/Arena´ - for detailed informations see the included file ´Arena093.txt´ (also in English). Furthermore this new version displays some additional informations: - the _true_ currently used hashsize - the FEN notation of the analysed position - (optional) informations about the used CPU (new engine option ´CPU´) I hope, that this Arena problem will be resolved in the next Arena update, and I can remove this ´special´ code from my next ChestUCI release again.
