I believe that in 5 years, 10 years or maybe 30 years people play more FRC/Chess960/FullChess compare to normal chess. The next generation can learn this variant of chess and at the moment is important that young people learn chess and FRC/Chess960. Yes, this is possible! A little dream to make this hobby more interesting! The computer chess community need for new ideas a little bit time (I saw this in the latest years ... Example = WinBoard or UCI). I start my webpages with 15 WB engines, the first WinBoard tournaments with Djordje with 6 engines. I start UCI with a commercial CD and get a big help from Gambit-Soft. I try to make WinBoard / UCI protocols more interesting in thousends of hours private work. Now I am thinking FRC is a new and interesting way and also x other people have the same opinion. For me is very important to make a little bit for FRC/Chess960. We have 960 possibilities to create new variants (ECO A00-E99 x 960). We have new possibilities to find mistakes in the opening playing style of our chess programs. We have new possibilities to play chess without long and boring opening variants. We have, we have and we have ... All opinions are important and maybe I start a big thread in CCC (hope so). Have a nice day! Best Frank
