It's just a bit slower. Resolving a btm position with only btm EGDBs requires a 2-ply rather than a 1-ply search. Because of the exact nature of EGDBs they don't lose value over time. Eg Thompsons CDs are still good (if copied to hard disk of course :-). Besides, I can't complain about lack of appreciation sofar. Particularly Marc Bourzutschky's feedback was very helpful and inspiring, while his 6-man project was nothing less than a milestone.
