Thanks to G.Carlo for his free update of Deep Sjeng. I have tested it against a top program, Chess Tiger 15 in a 120 games match with the following conditions: - 25 minutes / game - Common book : Chess Tiger 15 - Alternating colors. - Repeated games not checked. - Computer: Pentium 3 Dual 933 - Chessbase environment. Result: PC1, Blitz:25' 0 1 Chess Tiger 15.0 ½0½1½1½10111½0111½½1001½11½½1½½11½1011101111½00111½0½½0½011010½½½1½½1½0½1½1½11½1½0½½½011½110½00½½1½½10111½½1111½11110110 76.5/120 2 Deep Sjeng 1.5 ½1½0½0½01000½1000½½0110½00½½0½½00½0100010000½11000½1½½1½100101½½½0½½0½1½0½0½00½0½1½½½100½001½11½½0½½01000½½0000½00001001 43.5/120 Despite the clear win for Chess Tiger 15, Deep Sjeng 1.5 seems to be a strong program, with -in my opinion- clear room for improvement in the endgame. Well done, Gian Carlo!. Regards, Tom Casanovas.
