Since then 30 lists have been published, and Fritz was in first place in 20 of these lists. It's closest rivals were Shredder (three times first place) and Tiger (twice). Here are the statistics on how many times each program has been first: Fritz 20 Shredder 3 Tiger 2 Junior 1 Hiarcs 1 Rebel 1 Chessmaster 1 In reality since the last 30 lists have been published in only two occasions a non chessbase product has won. Therefore, chessbase will always benefit it sales regardless if Fritz, Shredder, Tiger, Junior, or Hiars wins. Not to mentioned Rebel and CM are not being tested, and if they decides to give ChessMaster an autoplayer and CM wins in the future, then Chessbase will adquire the right to sale CM and continue the trend.
