You could improve your program by adding these parts: tell it that a sac on e6 equals a weakness to f7 equals danger. tell it a knight on the rim is dim (a4) tell it not to hunt pawns to such an extent tell it the c5 knight would be better on d3 than a4 tell it a rook sitting on h1 while the knight is not participating in the attack is unacceptable (center)
