Exactly. And on a related note, when computers simply cannot be beaten by
humans, humans will rely on computers to search ever deeper into the middlegame,
and you will simply have humans memorizing ever deeper lines of play created by
computer, only to regurgitate them over the board. At that point we will flock
to Fischer Random Chess.
