Hoi Marc,
I will have to take your word for it that 23.Bf4 is the keymove for White here.
The position is too difficult for me. But I think you are good at this! Do you
ever play correspondence chess?
That PV from the Rebel Personality in my previous post is not to be trusted; Y5B
Rebel Personality is really the Q5T personality I once made from Q3 and with a
name like that it would probably do better in an Amazons tournament.
I did put the position to Crafty 18.10, not the most recent Crafty. I would like
to test other programs but due to Windows problems not everything is working.
Crafty in analyze mode still prefers 23. Qg2 (1.97 for White) over 23. Bf4 (1.41
for White) at 15 ply.
The position is interesting, as I used to play the Spanish myself, never with
much success I must add :) (3e klasse NOSBO ahem, you can't get any lower than
that). Ah, I see I just got a 16 ply result from Crafty, 2.01 for 23.Qg2 at 16
plies.
