that's not what I intended to post although I did type it -- brain starts
malfucntioning at my age after putting in a 60 hour week in the office

SOME of the modern programs that do not have EGTB MAY not play this correctly in
very short time controls,as the programmer lets the EGTB so the work for it.   A
program such as Crafty,which has large portion of code written before  EGTB will
play an ending like this correctly without EGTB

for commercial programs,  I think the position is trivial without EGTB

Ruffian sees the best play after 30 seconds which is  good for a single
processor machine (1.7 Ghz), other engines like F8 needs only a second on my
machine - all w/o EGTB
