My little program needs about 10 minutes, to find the game. Programming effort is around 1 minute ... I have a small database to give ECO numbers to games. Probably another interesting definition of "opening line" could be, some move number (or half move number), after which the ECO-database was left. I probably also search with this criterion without much hazzle. Regards, Dieter
