Hi,
Fritz Reul don't support his own program in different chess fora. I added List
for 2 years (in this time only a textmode program) on my older webpage. Newer
versions of List are very very strong but half commercial (only running under
commercial ChessBase GUIs).
I don't like the way that chess programmer make his engine uncompatible (not
running under the standards Winboard and UCI protocol).
In this case a good idea to write a little mail to chessbase support because I
don't know that you find here or in WinBoard Forum an answer from List
programmer Fritz Reul.
Furthermore, I don't like programs where running in 0/100 in 5 seconds.
For me not to explain that a program in one year is playing on top amateur level
niveau. But his is my private opinion ... maybe Fritz Reul is the most powerfull
young talent. Top programmers, like Frans Morsch (good example) development a
strong engine in 15 years!
Best
Frank
