Nothing is wrong with retiring. To be honest, I am tired of the Microsoft of
Chess. (Chessbase. Building or buying talent). I am rooting for newcomers.
Although TheKing isnt a newcomer, I had hoped to see Something in the future
other than Shredder and Fritz. (Or whatever the next aquisition might be).

Plus, my experience with TheKing online is that it isnt "done". It really doesnt
play the endgame well. I dont know how fixing that would make it weaker.

But as a programmer, I totally understand that some projects just need to be
ended. It is Da Konigs call. But without work, it wont last long competatively.
(Even though most interest is from the community and not Ubi).  While it will
continue to provide entertainment and education for kids worldwide. Nothing
wrong with that.
