You may have said this is jest or just kidding -- so please don't think I'm
picking on you. I'm just throwing my two cents in on this subject.

Although, it may be free to Ed's generosity. Professional and Amatuer is very a
very gray area. Clearly, Ed is a professional chess programmer or perhaps a
retired professional chess programmer. Of course, one could make an argument
that Bob Hyatt is a professional programer or perhaps a professinal chess
programmer -- but he's really a Professor first - not a programmer IMO. In any
event, I would say once a programmer is deemed a professional, there's no
crossing back -- even if the program is free. The analogy I would use is that
of a virgin. Once you are no longer a virgin, there's going back to being a
virgin again.

Sorry Ed, you're no amatuer. ;>)

I'm sure some people would argue with me on that point.

On the other hand, I would think there is a great chance that Rebel XP is the
strongest FREE engine. Very good chance IMO. I'm just as sure that many people
may agree with me on that statement.

As ana side question - is there anyway to run Rebel XP in Lokasoft Chess Partner
-- or is that what is coming next?
