But for me the opposite possibility is not strange: a) we establish direct connection between king and castling rook, b) then we empty destination squares c) and the castling is possible - SOMETIMES LIKE A MAGIC MOVE. This kind of solution has something revolutionary, like many century ago, when classic chess castling was introduced in the old game. Finaly, I think we should ask Bobby Fischer for his oppinion, giving him all our arguments. I think he is the most indicated to give us the final decision.
