Here is the story. I posted a request for help a few days ago (no response) stating my chess programs running analysis would after a spell end as if I closed the program . I also received from time to time (never concurrent) Win2k popup error, reporting Windows was going to shut down and needed restarting. Both of these errors occured random in time frame. I re-installed win2k over the existing operating win2k which I guess perhaps was improper, but I dont know how to init my harddrive. With this background I decided to install Win XP. In this way I would eliminate the windows problem and hopefull the chess problem would go away as well. That is the reason for getting XP. If I could get instructional help on initing my hard drive and how to make a proper installation of my Win2K CD that would be great ! Thanks in advance if someone is willing to offer help. It should be handled by e-mail I guess. My e-mail is yagi90250@yahoo.com Wayne
