This would be not a problem, but connecting it permanently to the net would be. Our current server allows us only to do web stuff, so we might be able to go with a web based chat. But probably not until after X-Mas at this point. Also, setting up an IRC client and learning how to use IRC commands is not exactly newbie friendly.
