I've got a DGT board (auto-sensory, no LEDs on the board).

- I like using the board and pieces, even when it's not connected to the PC.
It's a nice chess set

- I play on the Internet, and I use this board, but I don't connect it. :-P The
reason for this is that the board can't tell if you've let go of a piece or not
- it assumes a move is final once the destination square is occupied. So, no
chance to change your mind to another square. Maybe I've got bad habits though.
:-) This is just my reckoning, I've not actually tried it enough to see how
much of an issue this is in practice. Maybe I should give it more testing, but
I'm just happy enough to use the mouse after playing the move on the board.

- the main benefit I get from the board is during study of a particular chess
position (e.g. a tactical puzzle). After looking at it myself on the board, I
start up Fritz and the position is automatically setup in the GUI.

So, I'm probably not making the full use of my board. But I don't regret buying
it.

Gordon
