Isnt it a bore to simply buy a CB engine and then buy a fast system and then run it all the time at playchess? A bore in the sense that you really had nothing to do with any part of the equation. You cant really take credit for any part of it. It would almost be more interesting to me to have a fixed engine category. Say this year 2ghz and require all engines to run on basically the same hardware. (I suppose you could change the category every 1 or 2 years). Then the results would be interesting. At least to me.
