I have played 862 games vs. other engines now with Junior 8. I'm not sure the percent of games lost on time but it has gotten so bad that even though it often outplays shredder 7 in mid game it is ranked below yace 99.56 and ruffian 1.0.1 (all games for ruffian run from CB interface) due mostly to time losses. Many of the losses seem to be on move 79 running tournament time controls. I thought it could be an issue with the version of the CB interface so I went back and installed the shredder 7 interfaces to see if Junior 8 came with a faulty version of the CB interface. This did not fix the issue. Nothing against Yace and Ruffian, they are both great. I just think for $50 Junior 8 should rank above then both and not have bugs with time management. If anyone wants to seen blown end games or losses on time by Junior 8 I have plenty of examples I can post if anyone wants to see. Hopefully a patch will come out soon and this problem will go away. -Ryan
