I have also around 1900-1950 Elo and participated for myself in some
earlier of my tournaments, but with ponder off.
Therefore the time control 20minutes/40moves was not very favourable
for Humans (: but I had no time for more and I find RapidChess
quite interesting and regularily participate in Human rapid events.
(also the hardware was quite low PIII650 - perhaps I participate
again some time to feel my new hardware against me ;-)
You can even find some of my patzer games still for download...
