Aarghh! setting up Ruffian (or whatever WB program) with the WB adapter under CB proves nothing' and was not what Uri suggested you to do. You simply have to set up it in WINBOARD if you want to see if is somehow weakened under the CB Gui and I bet it is - I know of cases, when the Gui even sent moves which the program never thought of!
