[White "Shredder 7.04"]
[Black "Junior 8"]
{W=12.8 ply; 231kN/s; 1,281 TBAs
B=11.7 ply; 287kN/s
Junior kN/s : Shredder kN/s = 1.24 : 1
Actually Junior should have far more kN/s than shredder on equal hardware.
Heres one game I played with these engines: (I used Deep Junior 8 but both
Junior and Shredder used 2 cpus)
[White "Deep Junior 8"]
[Black "Shredder 7.04"]
{W=16.8 ply; 3,028kN/s; 495 TBAs
B=14.4 ply; 700kN/s
4.3 : 1
I suggest you turn off permanent brain when using Junior 8 in engine matches and
perhaps reduce the hash table if its having problems. Run the match again and
I'm sure you'll get better results :)
