Currently, the update for the latest *GUI* (=Chessprogram8.exe) is only available from Playchess.com / Schach.de. AFAIK that procedure can also update native engines, depending on what the user has. If you have the March 5th version, you're GUI is up to date. Chessbase.com has other files, like updates of UCI engines, a bugfix for the Shredder classic GUI, also the service pack for the previous version Fritz 7 can be downloaded from there. People should take a look in the Support section AND in the Download section, to search for updates/bugfixes, and of course connect to Playchess.com at least then and when. But usually, the news will be spread in the message boards when there is a new GUI update, too. Regards, M.Scheidl
