With which UCI engine did you try and it worked fine? I'd like to know one that
doesn't have this problem to find out what might be the problem with some
engines that definitely have it. And which version of uci.dll do you use?

Just to be sure: you have to check the real memory used - at least for some real
UCI engines the GUI displays the hashsize as if everything was working fine but
it doesn't - the engine still uses the default hashsize as the GUI didn't tell
it anything about it.
