Subject: Emulating old chess computers

In the discussion group of Kurt Kispert ( http://f19322.siteboard.de/ ) a lot of
people are thinking about emulating processors like 6502 to let old chess
programs run (eg. SuperConny etc) on a GHz-Computer. Reading the EPROMS is easy.
IMHO the I/O-part will be a problem.

Are there any information available from the chess programmers about I/O?
Is any programmer interested in publishing these info?

Did anybody think about emulating these programs?

Just think about this: A SuperConny-UCI-Engine on a GHz-computer!

Thanks in advance
Frank
