It is sad to see that almost 70 years after the great mans death, people still
do not stop bashing Tarrasch. Tarrasch was one of the greatest players of his
time, had an attractive style of play, and was a great writer and teacher.

One of the most instructive books I read as a chess beginner was Tarrasch's
"Dreihundert Schachpartien". Even today, it remains one of my favorite chess
books.

I suspect that most of the people who criticize Tarrasch today have not read
any of his books, probably they have not even analysed a substantial number of
his games.
