I downloaded and tested Zotron to see how it did against my work in progress
'almost'newbie engine. (TSCP derivative)
I had a few problems unfortunatly, I always use Chessmaster 9000 as my Winboard
interface so I tried to set up Zotron as a Winboard personality.
When I tried to play under CM9000 it was a guaranteed crash of Zotron ;-(
I switched to use Chess Arena instead of CM9000. Not sure why but that worked
ok, no crashes observed. The snag with this though was that Zotron wasn't
understanding the time control. E.g instead of thinking for 10 secs between
moves it was moving virtually instantly.
Obviously that made it an unfair competition so I only played a couple of games.
If you can add the Winboard time control command or fix it if it is a bug I will
give it another test to see how it gets on ?
