Dear Computer experts, Over the weekend, I ran a small tournament on my computer. During the time that it ran, I had my monitor turned off. But at times, I heard the computer emit sounds like it does when an error has occured. Yesterday, when I turned my monitor on, I saw about 20-error messages. They all read something like: "Win Socket at AP Synch Lookup." I'm going my memory here, but I think I recall the wording generally correctly. So when I clicked the boxes to make them go away, my computer crashed. There shouldn't be any memory problems since I have 512 MB's of RAM. I therefore rebooted several times and checked for viruses and spyware and cleaned out my Windows tempory file. But the Win Socket boxes persist in appearing from time to time. What's wrong and how do I fix this? My computer is 2-years old, with Windows 98, and I haven't had this trouble previously. Thanks in advance for your help. All the best, Stephen
