What do you mean exactly by above GM level? That it will beat all humans? That it will beat run of the mill GMs. That it would have a rating over 2500? That it will do sone of the above all the time? You have to be more specific. But a standard PC system would produce a player capable of beating GMs relatively often. And win low category tournaments. Chess Tiger did it on a 800MHz machine in Argentina I believe. And it got a tremendous TPR (Temporary Performance Rating). And CM is not classes worse than CT. MvH Dan Andersson
