Hi Sean, CM9000 is a nice program. The truth is, losing 3 games out of 40 is
not to bad on these internet chess sites! There is always the chance that the
three times that Cm9000 lost, that it lost to a program, know what i mean?
Of course im not saying thats what happened, but_____in either case, just buy
the fastest processor and mother board you can afford. Get the most ram you can
afford, thats very important.
Perhaps something like a Pentium 4 at 3GHz & 800Mhz front side bus, 256Mb DDR
SDram at 400MHz. Or AMD Athlon XP 2000+ processor on an Asus ATN266-vm
motherboard, or an EPoX motherboard with 256MB of ram or more, would do the
trick!
Do your research before you spend hard cash on a system, there alot of systems
out there right now ! If you know how to build your own, or want to, theres all
the info out there to do just that! I think it's cheaper and more fun, but more
important than that is, you know what you have and you can fix it when something
doesn't work right, Hmmmmm, sometimes____lololol
Good Luck,
Earl
