If I recall correctly, Theron once wrote that he supplied code information to
ChessBase so they could write the  .eng file and interface with his .dll. Maybe
someone outside ChessBase knows their protocol but I haven't heard anyone
talking, leaving adators or other methods which are not appropriate to this
forum. BK
