After running CHessmaster 5000 on ICC Using a Athlon 2400+, i was quite surprised at how well it did. It kicked crafty and a couple of the tigers butt pretty handily, i ended up winning most of my blitz games, Chessmaster plays more like a modern program then an old one, it sacrifices material for initiative and often plays in a brilliant style, makes one wonder how much progress has really been made since 1997!
