I am not surprised if it beated crafty.
I believe that crafty is one of the programs that did not do significant
improvement from 1997.

I am also not surprised from the fact that it sacrificed material because I know
that chessmaster always liked to do it.

I am more surprised from the fact that it beated a couple of the tigers but
tiger is not the best program of today and maybe it was lucky to play an opening
that tiger does not like.

I guess that the best programs of
today(Shredder7.04,Fritz8,Junior8,chessmaster9000) can get more than 50% against
chessmaster5000 in case that they get hardware that is 3 time slower.
