Dear Computer Experts, I posted below regarding a virus that was causing me to get Windows Socket error boxes. I then tried about 6-different online free virus checks, but they found nothing. Then I went to McAfee for a free scan. It found my Trojan, claiming it's the mmx.exe icon in my C:\Program File\Internet Explorer file. When I right clicked on it and read properties, it says it was created April 20, 2003. Since I've had my computer for 2-years, this probably is the Trojan. However I scanned this icon with "The Cleaner" and "PC Door Guard 3" and the anti-virus stuff already on my computer and they all claim it's OK! Still, given is recent creation date, I believe it is a Trojan. So, how do I remove it without paying for expensive software? It wont allow me to right click and delete and it also prevents me from dragging it into my recycle bin. Any ideas guys? Thanks in advance. Stephen
