Stephen,

  Far from expert here and this is not exactly anti-virus software. Yet if your
security has been a little low or if you tend to run unknown executables these
freeware might be useful.

Even more off subject but still nice. A personal firewall and they have a
freeware version. You can go and read about it if you like.
