The commonly acknowledged top dedicated anti-trojan software is TDS-3 http://tds.diamondcs.com.au/ (and Boclean but it doesnt scan on demand) you can try the 30 day trial. Trojanhunter is good too. Other users will route their traffic through your computer and requests from them , will appear to come from you..(your ip will be recorded instead of theirs). There is a legimate software called analogx proxyhttp://www.analogx.com/contents/download/network/proxy.htm that allows all traffic in a LAN to be routed through one computer. I vagully remember some exploits regarding it poping up on the net recently, but this is probably unrelated. I'm not even certain if the trojan you have launches this, or just something similar. Use a startup manager and see if anything strange is running, if not, you are probably okay. BTW Why not post in usenet forums with real experts? e.g. alt.comp.anti-virus various web forums on internet security like Wilder's security etc. Aaron
