I think that there should be no problem to use different code for 1 thread in
the same program and if the number of threads is 1 the program can
call a different exe file.

I use only one processor but
I do not like the idea that customers who pay for using more than one processor
get something weaker when they want to use one processor.

The point is that customers may want to use one processor in part of the time
and 2 processors in another part of the time and you tell these customers that
they need to buy both Junior8 and Deep Junior8 if they want optimal results.
