In chess these days it is pointless their is just to many great programs that are free. rebel12, crafty, xboard, phalanx, etc etc. I was once given a copy of fritz that I never really played much I liked tiger much more at the time and bought CA. which then came w/ CT14. In fact I ended up throwing the copy away! since then I have paid for cm9000, and CT for palm, but I now have unix on my desktop and mostly use scid for databases and phalanx to play w/ so I might win a game or too. I think that If you use a someones program and like it you should pay for it or not use it at all. hope this helps
