I'm already into it :) My MSc thesis is titled "Efficient Search and
Knowledge-Based Innovations for Computer Chess". The title is intentionally
vague, because the thesis will contain sections on forward pruning (e.g., the
already published verified null-move pruning), and also on endgames (the area I
have been working for the past year).

And undoubtedly the PhD thesis will also be about computer chess.

I'd rather deal with a difficult subject that I love, rather than to turn into
fossil in other computer science domains...

You've already got one for now :) Another endgame paper is under way.

No, I haven't submitted any papers to the conference, because I will be busy
there participating in the WCCC with Falcon. Looking forward to see you there!
