Hello, during last days I published following simplified method to lay down a gane of Fischer Random Chess: [http://www.rescon.de/Compu/fullchess2_e.html]

The eight big white chess men has to be put into a bag and shuffled there.

One piece after another will be taken (blocking any glances) out of the bag until all eight have been placed (from 'a' to 'h') at their base rank.

Will be observed, that both bishops are placed at equal colored squares, select the bishop from the side, which the king has towards the queen. Now search upon the contrary colored squares for king (with priority) or queen; a) swap the piece first found that way with the bishop; b) otherwise repeat the drawing (3%).

Will be observed, that the king has not been placed somewhere between the rooks, then the king has to be exchanged with the rook next to him.

cases occurences (mean value: 5040/960 = 5.25) 006 * 8 . 062 * 7 ## 252 * 6 ########. 372 * 5 ############ 238 * 4 #######: 030 * 3 . 144 * 1 cases to be repeated(less than 3%). Comments and improving suggestions are always welcomed. Regards, Reinhard
