The point it that they could sell me only the engine for the same price so I do
not feel that I pay for the GUI.

I do not use the chessbase database program.
Using the engines to play or analyze is enough for me and almost everything can
be used under Fritz.

I never tried but for this purpose I have winboard and Movei.
