I agree with the fact that it's important to test these engines against the same other top engines, but isn't it interesting to see the result of brothers war on the row? I think it's as interesting as the comparison between matches against other engines. See this message: http://www.talkchess.com/forums/1/message.html?300922 And i also think that these kind of matches must be included into the rating lists, because if Sh7 wins against Sh7.04 the strongest engine i think it will not have an importance into the rating list of more than +/- 5 points, so why let Sh7 with these few less points? And also Sh 7.04 with more 5 points? I just want to ask Mr Stefen Meyer Kahlen if he has tested his Sh 7.04 in a match against Sh 7? And if so, could he please give as some of these games or at least the cross-tables?
