What version of the Fritz GUI are you using?  Winboard232d is starting correctly
but can't finda named pipe slave to connect to.  That means somehow you're not
putting Fritz into a named pipe slave mode when you go to connect hardware.
Make sure you check "Server name" and leave a dot . as the server name when you
go to connect hardware.
