The reason why Shredder played 10. Nf1 is simple: it is in the book!
When you have a look into the Shredder 7 book (Shredder7.ctg) there will be 2
moves, each with a probability of 50% to be played: 10. Re2 and 10. Nf1.
Looks like a problem when converting from the original Shredder 7 book to the
Chessbase format.
